Privacy policy

Your privacy, plainly.

The short version: I collect only what I need to book and care for you, I never sell your information, and you can ask me to delete it anytime.

What I collect

Only what I need to book and care for you:

  • When you book: your name, email address and phone number, the treatment and time you choose, and any notes you add.
  • Your skin and health questions: things like your skin type and concerns, allergies or sensitivities, medications, and whether you’re pregnant or nursing. You choose what to share — it helps me keep your treatment safe.
  • Your appointment history and any notes I keep about your treatments, so each visit builds on the last.
  • The glow list and messages: if you sign up or contact me, your name, email, optional phone number and what you write.
  • Basic technical data: like every website, the server briefly processes your IP address and browser details to keep the site secure and stop spam.

02

How I use it

  • To schedule, confirm, remind you about and follow up on your appointments.
  • To choose safe, effective treatments and give you aftercare advice.
  • To answer your questions and messages.
  • To send occasional emails about openings, offers and skin tips — only if you join the glow list or tick the box when booking. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

03

Who I share it with

I never sell or rent your information, and I don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising. A few trusted services help me run the studio and handle data only on my behalf:

  • the company that hosts this website and its database;
  • an email delivery service that sends your confirmations, reminders and (if you opted in) my newsletters;
  • a payment processor (Stripe or Square) if you pay a deposit or prepay online. Card details go straight to them — I never see or store your full card number.

I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

04

Cookies & third-party content

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The studio login uses a necessary cookie to keep staff signed in, and the booking page may remember your progress in your browser until you close the tab. On my links page I count how many times each link is tapped — just a number, not who tapped it.

The map on my homepage is provided by Google Maps, and some photos load from the Pexels image library; those services receive your IP address when their content loads, under their own privacy policies.

05

How long I keep it

I keep client and appointment records for as long as you’re a client, and for a reasonable time afterward for my business records. Glow list details stay until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove them. Messages are kept only as long as I need them to help you.

06

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to:

  • see the information I have about you, or correct it;
  • delete your information (I may need to keep basic records of past payments);
  • stop marketing emails — use the unsubscribe link in any email, or just tell me.

Email me at [email protected] and I’ll take care of it.

07

Keeping it safe

Your information travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the studio system is password-protected and limited to me and the people who help me run it. No system is perfectly secure, but I take protecting your information seriously.

08

Guests under 18

Treatments for guests under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 — a parent or guardian should book for them. See my studio policies.

09

Changes & contact

If I update this policy, I’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
